Louisiana Country is a monthly publication mailed to SLECA consumers. It was established in 1950 to provide consumers with timely information about SLECA as well as offering interesting feature and news stories, monthly recipes, a calendar of upcoming local and statewide events and a very popular marketplace section filled with ads of items being sold or sought after.

Louisiana Country is a very effective means of providing news about annual and district meetings, developments in national energy policy, energy and conservation tips or programs that promote economic development, job growth and scholarship opportunities for our consumers and their families.
